Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Colorist Assistant to support our feature colorists at Bridge PostWorks in Mumbai. This is a full-time position.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with color grading operations from ingest to delivery, maintaining proficiency with evolving workflows, technical applications, and processes. They will provide critical support to our colorist team as needed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Feature Color Support: Assist with color systems, color spaces (e.g., P3DCI, P3D65, XYZ), LUT applications, color tracing, match grading, and rendering.
  • Resource & Technology Management: Operate DaVinci Resolve v18, Baselight, or similar software, staying up-to-date with new processes and technologies.
  • Quality Assurance/Control: Ensure accurate settings and error-free work before distribution, overseeing the feature finishing process.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to meet deadlines, document workflows, and help train new hires.
  • Customer Service: Assist during client sessions, including screenings, VFX reviews, and color-correction sessions.

Requirements

  • Experience in media/post-production, with hands-on experience as an operator.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Tools.
  • Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve v18 or Baselight is required; familiarity with digital projectors is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills in a fast-paced technical environment.

Estimated Salary: ₹500,000 - ₹700,000 per annum, depending on experience.
