About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of robust backend systems and data solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing scalable and high-performance backend systems using Java and related technologies.
  2. Architecting data pipelines and workflows for efficient data processing and storage.
  3. Ensuring system architecture aligns with business requirements and technical standards.

Technical Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
  2. Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
  3. Experience with legacy Java struts.
  4. Extensive experience in data engineering, including ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  5. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  6. Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.

Desirable Qualifications:

A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field would be an advantage. Certifications in Java, cloud technologies, or data engineering would also be beneficial. Experience with DevOps practices and tools is highly desirable.
