Job Title: Community Development Specialist

As a Community Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in implementing projects that promote social and environmental sustainability. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Implementation: Oversee the rollout of projects, focusing on timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at community, ward, and district levels.
  • Community Involvement: Foster community ownership and participation in project activities for long-term sustainability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with program lead, coordinator, and internal teams to secure necessary support for project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges promptly, collaborating with the program coordinator and Program Lead.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or related field.
  • 1+ years' experience in program implementation in the social sector.
  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods.
  • Fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
