Public Relations Director

The Public Relations Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing communications plan to promote the company's products or services.
Broad Responsibilities:
- Create a strategic plan to increase brand awareness and reach a wider audience.
- Develop media relations strategies to secure placements in top-tier publications, including print, broadcast, and online media.
- Coordinate all public relations activities, including event planning, social media management, and content creation.
- Leverage existing relationships with thought leaders and influencers to grow industry awareness.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations is required.
- Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both local and national levels.
- Strong relationships with local and national business and industry media outlets are essential.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills are necessary.
- Solid experience with social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
