Manual Quality Assurance Specialist

Perform thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and verify functionality, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Job Overview

This is a challenging role that involves performing detailed manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in manual testing and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and execute test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Report, track, and manage defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not impact existing functionality.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and verify fixes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate test records, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation testing.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
