Job Title: Master Data Architect

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Google Cloud Ecosystem tools such as Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC (Change Data Capture), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and constructing data acquisition pipelines for structured and unstructured data to improve business intelligence and analytics capabilities.
  • Building complex datasets based on business requirements to drive informed decision-making.
  • Constructing 'big data' pipeline architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and business clients to identify opportunities for data acquisition and implementing solutions.
  • Translating business needs into technical requirements and leveraging various tools in the Google Cloud Ecosystem to integrate systems and data pipelines.
  • Monitoring pipelines using logs & alerts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replicating SAP tables to Google Cloud using SLT to enhance data integration capabilities.
  • Developing JSON messaging structure for integrating with various applications to facilitate seamless data exchange.
  • Leveraging DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure reliability and scalability of data pipelines.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Partitioning and retrieving content in Big Query to optimize data storage and retrieval.
  • Securing data using IAM roles & Policy Tags to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Designing and building an ingestion pipeline using Rest API to streamline data ingestion.
  • Recommending ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency to enhance overall business performance.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Junior DE: 2-3 years of experience in a GCP data engineering role with expertise in Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
  • Senior DE: 4+ years of experience in a GCP data engineering role with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in GCP tools highlighted.
