Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead our development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the MERN stack.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and document end-to-end workflows and feature requirements.
  • Contribute to providing solutions for given problem statements.
  • Independently design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components.
  • Analyze and determine root causes for complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
  • Assist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling.
  • Define code architecture decisions to support high-performance and scalable products with minimal footprints.
  • Work closely with senior engineers for sprint planning and delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, product stakeholders, and other teams as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in MERN Stack.
  • Strong hands-on experience in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, React Js, Typescript, Next Js, XML, JQuery.
  • Strong hands-on experience in back-end technologies: Node.js, Express/Nest js, REST APIs, Microservices, ORM.
  • Good experience in various databases: MongoDB, MySQL, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, Firebase.
  • Experience in code versioning: Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, CDN.
  • Knowledge of unit test frameworks.
  • Experience working on SEO and website performance enhancement.
  • Experience with integrating third-party APIs like Google APIs, stripe, AWS services, socket.io, etc.
  • Experience in formulating deployment strategies on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
