Job Title: Medical Affairs Strategist

The medical affairs strategist will lead the development of a robust medico-marketing strategy, focusing on providing support and facilitating collaboration between the medical and marketing teams.

  • Lead the development of medical references and data to support product positioning and research and development (R&D).
  • Support the marketing team with strategic advice on promotional activities to ensure accurate messaging and compliance.
  • Develop comprehensive product manuals, monographs, and training slides to enhance understanding and communication of product benefits.
  • Prepare Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials to support ongoing education initiatives.
  • Evaluate new product ideas and presentations, providing insights and recommendations to the marketing and business development teams.
  • Conduct medical training sessions for field staff to ensure they are well-informed about products and therapeutic areas.
  • Actively participate in clinical studies to gather relevant data and insights that inform medical affairs strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess data and inform strategic decisions.
  2. Collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations to enhance scientific communication and brand credibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in medical affairs or related fields.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical development processes, and the therapeutic landscape.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
