Job Title: Business Analytics and Data Quality Specialist

 

Job Description:

As a Business Analytics and Data Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and usability of data across our organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated data tests, creating regression packs, and executing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate deployment pipelines and release readiness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Automated Data Tests

Create SQL assertions and expectations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Develop Regression Packs

Build test packs for DAX/measures and dataset-level contracts to ensure consistency and reliability.

Execute SIT and UAT

Test and validate deployment pipelines and release readiness.

Leverage Power Platform Tools

Utilize Power Automate for defect routing and alerts to streamline processes.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Testing Experience

Strong background in testing data/BI platforms with mixed SaaS/ERP sources.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SQL and test data design.

Test Management Tools

Experience with test management/reporting tools and understanding of privacy and access controls.

 

Desirable:

Specialized Skills

Great Expectations or similar performance testing tools; ISTQB certification.
