  • Integrate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the visual experience
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product
  • Consult with stakeholders throughout the production process
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest editing technologies and industry best practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • BS degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field
