Job Title: Business Intelligence Expert

Overview:

A leading organization is seeking an accomplished Business Intelligence Expert with expertise in data engineering and reporting solutions to drive enterprise data initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing scalable data pipelines, delivering high-quality reports, and working collaboratively with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Publish Reports: Create interactive and informative reports using Power BI, focusing on ease of use, performance, and governance.
  • Implement Data Models: Design and develop data models tailored for reporting, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Create Reusable Measures and Transformations: Develop DAX measures and Power Query transformations to optimize report performance and simplify maintenance.
  • Ensure Reports Follow Governance Best Practices: Implement security, access control, and data protection measures to maintain the integrity of sensitive information.
  • Support Business Teams with Ad-Hoc Analysis and Report Automation: Provide timely and accurate insights to support business decisions and implement automated reporting workflows where possible.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query): Experience in utilizing Power BI tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong SQL Server Skills: Proficiency in SQL Server and its related tools.
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling Principles: Dimensional, normalized, denormalized data modeling principles are essential for this role.
  • Experience Working in an Offshore Delivery Model: Familiarity with collaborating in a global team environment.
  • Good Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to solve complex problems are crucial for success.
