Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, calibration, maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment within your area of expertise.
  • Support external and internal corrosion control programs, ensuring adequate monitoring and mitigation, and adhering to DOT requirements.
  • Process corrosion data, generate, analyze, and communicate monthly reports, and work with business partners to resolve issues.
  • Provide guidance and project scoping for corrosion control issues.
  • Integrate and analyze corrosion control testing data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in a vocational, technical, or business field.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises, and in enclosed spaces.
  • Carry and lift items weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods.
  • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE.
  • Use hand tools.
Shift, Work Hours, and Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to travel for troubleshooting and training as required.
Other Requirements:
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Valid State Driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Familiarity with CFR Parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations.
  • Ability to acquire NACE CIP Level 1 Certification.
  • NACE Cathodic Protection (CP) Level I Certification.
  • Operator Qualification (OQ) certification.
