Job Title: Specialist – Data Analytics

About the Role:

The IT data analyst plays a crucial role in managing business-critical data applications, ensuring their accuracy, accessibility, and usability. This role oversees the development, administration, enhancement, and support for data capture, processing, and reporting projects using Azure, Power BI, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data and reporting applications using visualization tools to deliver reporting and analytics projects such as consolidated profit databases and see-through profitability databases.
  • Maintain data integrity, availability, and security across business intelligence platforms and related reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, and other business units to gather requirements, develop dashboards and reports, and translate business needs into effective data solutions.
  • Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to align data analytics initiatives with strategic goals and operational needs.
  • Supervise and coordinate with outsourced Business Intelligence Analysts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytics tasks and enhancements.
  • Manage application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate upgrades or patches in collaboration with internal IT and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, data workflows, reporting standards, and user guidelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in data collection, transformation, and visualization to support better decision-making.
  • Support data governance initiatives by ensuring adherence to data management standards and policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
