Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

SpiceGems is a leading technology company providing cloud solutions to ecommerce merchants worldwide.

This role requires an experienced professional who can lead our human resources function, design and execute talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent from various channels and sources.

About the Job:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent from various channels and sources.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, screenings and shortlisting of candidates to ensure best fit for the role.
  • Review employment applications, background check reports and make informed decisions on offer stages.
  • Update position tracking tools regularly and in a timely manner to ensure accurate data.
  • Identify new recruitment channels and opportunities to enhance our hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to assist with training needs and implementation according to plans.
  • Ensure accurate attendance records for error-free payroll calculation and processing.
  • Conduct exit procedures, including exit documents, procedures and exit interviews for entry-level employees.
  • Promote performance discussions through quarterly evaluations, goal-setting, peer review, assessment appraisal processes and regular performance feedback.
  • Resolve conflicts, employee management, address employee issues and grievances.
Requirements:
  • A graduate degree with 5-7 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong recruiting skills, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and more.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and policies.
  • Familiarity with compensation best practices, including payroll, bonus systems and allowances.
Competencies:
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, with high integrity and reliability.
  • Action orientation, problem-solving skills and results-driven approach.
  • Capacity to work within a diverse team and manage time and resources effectively.
