Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist. This role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decision-making.

This position requires a strong balance of technical expertise, automation skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize structured and unstructured datasets for analysis.
  • Perform exploratory and advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for management and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.
  • Automate recurring reporting and analytical tasks using AI/ML-based tools and scripting.
  • Manage and optimize databases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Presentation of findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (Python, SQL, Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Must have experience with visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience in automation workflows (Python scripts, AI/ML models preferred).
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and build analytical models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical and structured mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain insights clearly.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp domain knowledge and industry context.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a sense of ownership and responsibility.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience in MIS, dashboards, or business intelligence reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics or automation platforms.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or database management.
