Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Datacom Tester to join our team at Looper Development Services Private Limited. As a Senior Datacom Tester, you will be responsible for testing and validating network devices and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage automation testing suites/cases.
  • Identify automation areas and write automation test cases using Python.
  • Design test plans and test cases for new features.
  • Execute regression suites prior to Production release and other repeatable tests to maintain product Quality.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs.
  • Communicate with Client and end customers in written and verbal.
  • Contributes on all aspects of Testing, QA Framework for existing projects and Projects from Scratch.
  • Should be able to interact with client and customers for Escalated Customer Issues/Bugs.
  • Peer Review of other QA member's work.
  • Document Automation processes, methods and help in Demo as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently and in team settings.
  • Experience testing network hardware devices and/or software.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, ARP, DHCP, NAT, L2 switch, L3 routing.
  • Knowledge of Protocols Vlan, STP, RSTP, LLDP, RIP, OSPF, VRRP.
  • Experience API testing and Traffic Generator tools like Scapy.
  • Experience with Test case management tool.
  • Experience creating test cases leveraging software feature and design specification documents.
  • Experience testing in an Agile software development model.
  • Knowledge of system dependencies and inter-device communications.
