Job Overview

The role of a Site Manager is critical to the success of any construction project. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and drawings.
  • Monitor the execution of work at site to ensure alignment to the project requirements.
  • Collaborate with contractors to enhance resource productivity through effective use of work study techniques.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labour by contractors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) teams in ensuring compliance with quality parameters.
  • Assist the Safety Team in implementing safety standards on site and provide support for conducting job safety analyses.
  • Escalate abnormal developments regarding project progress, safety, quality, resources, etc., to the Project Manager.
  • Work closely with Planning and Billing teams to ensure smooth delivery of their tasks.
  • Arrange regular meetings with contractors to review progress and discuss potential issues.
  • Coordinate the indenting of client materials in a timely manner.
  • Implement Change Management processes for all variations.
  • Review and implement contractual clauses during construction and billing phases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in senior roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
