We are seeking a skilled Polarion Configuration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Polarion configuration, workflow implementation, and process customization.

  • Polarion Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Polarion configuration, workflow implementation, and process customization.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage project templates, custom fields, scripts, permissions, and dashboards.
  • Experience integrating Polarion with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Doors, Teamcenter, or other ALM/PLM systems.

The role involves designing and implementing processes, workflows, traceability matrices, and custom templates aligned with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and company-specific quality frameworks.

You will be responsible for end-to-end management of requirements, validation, release management, and safety & product documentation within Polarion. Your role will also include tool support, process rollout, training delivery, and test concept creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and tailor Polarion ALM to support project-specific requirements, test planning, validation, release, and documentation workflows.
  2. Design and implement processes, workflows, traceability matrices, and custom templates aligned with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and company-specific quality frameworks.
  3. Lead the rollout of Polarion solutions across international teams, including training, documentation, and end-user support.
  4. Develop and maintain test concepts, oversee test operations, and provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Polarion tool-related issues.
  5. Manage safety-relevant documentation and ensure regulatory traceability for compliance in automotive/battery systems.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment following the SAFe framework (10-week Program Increments).
  7. Support and coach users across departments (Engineering, Quality, IT) to effectively utilize Polarion features for their use cases.
  8. Drive continuous improvement of Polarion-based ALM processes through feedback, automation, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Polarion Expertise (Mandatory)
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model methodologies for requirements engineering, validation, change management, and release planning.
  • Agile & Communication Skills
