Okta Expert Position

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Okta Identity Cloud, including hands-on experience in architecture, implementation, integration, and support of Okta-based solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities include serving as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Okta solutions across projects, designing, configuring, and implementing Okta Identity Cloud features, integrating Okta with various applications using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and other protocols, working closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and security leads to define access control strategies and identity workflows, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to authentication, authorization, and provisioning, conducting health checks, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of Okta environments, developing documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and runbooks, and staying current with industry trends and Okta product developments to continuously improve solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of overall experience in IAM with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and API security.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, custom scripting, and identity automation.
  • Familiarity with integrating Okta with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Office 365).
  • Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Okta certifications (such as Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Consultant) are a strong advantage.
