Senior IT Project Manager: Workday Integration

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead our Workday Integration team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional project teams, developing and managing core project management deliverables, and escalating critical risks, issues, changes, problems or delays to the project sponsor and HRIS leadership as needed.

This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity and experience with HR & Talent Acquisition programs, systems and processes (e.g. HCM & applicant tracking systems, recruiting, sourcing & pre-screening, onboarding, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively with HR leadership & stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, prioritization, and successful project delivery
  • Utilizing proven interpersonal and change management skills, overcome resistance to new processes and technologies
  • Strong business acumen to recommend optimal solutions to complex business problems by critically evaluating and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true business needs

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing large cross-functional project teams
  • Developing and managing core project management deliverables
  • Escalating critical risks, issues, changes, problems or delays to the project sponsor and HRIS leadership as needed
  • Providing direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems
  • Ensuring infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience, with 1-3 years of Management experience

Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, high-tech or related field is preferred. Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
