Are you a technical visionary ready to shape the future of big data engineering?
As a seasoned Lead Big Data Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative features for our Enterprise TruRisk Platform.
Working closely with a talented team of engineers and architects, you will be responsible for prototyping, designing, developing, and supporting a highly scalable, distributed SaaS-based Security Risk Prioritization product.
Key Responsibilities:- Be the thought leader in data platform and pipeline along with risk evaluation.
- Provide technical leadership to the engineering organization on data platform design, rollout, and evolution.
- Liaise with product teams, professional services, and sales engineers on solution and trade-off reviews, representing engineering in such conversations.
- Drive technology explorations and roadmaps.
- Act as a technical lead on cross-functional departments with high demands.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, 8+ years of total experience, and specific expertise in design and architecture of Big Data solutions using Spark, working with engineering resources for innovation, and understanding various search solutions like Solr/Elastic.
Our ideal candidate is an expert in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices, with hands-on experience in scripting and automation. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience leading development life cycles and best practices are also desired.
