Electrical Engineering Expert in Battery Management and CAN Protocol

The role involves the validation and testing of Battery Management Systems (BMS) as well as ensuring proper communication between BMS and Controller Area Network (CAN) for lithium-ion battery packs used in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Energy Storage Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test cases for BMS hardware and software functionalities.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and debugging of CAN protocol messages, including message monitoring and logging.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools such as CANalyzer and PCAN for efficient testing and development.
  • Prepare detailed reports on test results, defect identification, and proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to enhance system performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, EV systems architecture, and BMS principles.
  • Familiarity with CAN bus protocol and its applications in automotive and industrial sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and reporting abilities with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
