Job Title: Automotive Design Expert

Responsibilities:
  • Mentor a team for innovation and continuous process improvement through various initiatives.
  • Conduct research on design trends for automotive, product, fashion, lifestyle, and technology in both global and local contexts.
  • Understand the brand's vision, product concept, target customer, program perimeters, vehicle architecture, unique selling points, technical and commercial parameters of the project.
  • Create multiple design concepts for CMF based on the above information with the objective of achieving a complete understanding of volume and design expression by the audience.
  • Develop designs for production cars, concept cars, and demonstrators.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital and Visualisation team to create future CMF Designs.
  • Collaborate with the DPQ function to implement CMF Design themes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including design and manufacturing, to implement the production of final CMF and graphic designs.
  • Identify new resources for materials and ensure innovative designs by working with suppliers and vendors.
  • Create a future library for internal CMF samples.
  • Present design plans to Design top management at various stages.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in automobile styling related development, with more than 3-5 vehicle project development experience.
  • Excellent CMF design ability, familiar with automotive design and development processes, and proficient in using Photoshop, Illustrator, VRED, and MS office.
  • Fluent English communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Textile Design/Lifestyle accessories design/Apparel design/Transportation Design/Product Design.

  • Product planning, marketing, and communication teams.
  • Design Project Managers, Creative designers, Engineering pilots, Alias modelers, and Visualisation team members.
