Job Summary:

The Dance Teacher is responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate dancing activities, fostering social and emotional development, and building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and caters to the developmental needs of young children.
    • Plan and prepare daily dance activities, and learning extra performances that are engaging and developing extra skills.
  • Classroom Management:
    • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Manage classroom behavior and ensure that students follow classroom rules and routines.
    • Address individual needs and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Child Development and Support:
    • Observe and assess each child's developmental progress and learning needs.
    • Provide individual and group support to encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
    • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged.
  • Learning of Dance:

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching dance to young learners and a strong understanding of child development principles.
