Automation Specialist

Job Opportunity: Automation Engineer

1. System Integration and Maintenance: We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), RTU (Remote Terminal Units), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, including report generation.
2. Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID): A strong understanding of P&ID, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout drawings is essential for this role.
3. Instrumentation and Electrical Panel Integration: Hands-on experience with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analysers, actuators, Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV), Flow Control Valves (FCV), and electrical panel integration is required.
4. Task Execution and Planning: Ability to interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements is crucial.
5. Cable Laying and Routing: Experience in cable laying with necessary accessories in trenches and trays, as well as proficiency in understanding cable schedules and routing drawings, glanding, termination, and loop/Input-Output (IO) testing in the field.
6. Instrumentation Commissioning: Proficiency in configuring and commissioning flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
7. Site Coordination and Clearance: Responsible for providing site clearances to sub-contractors and in-house teams as per the plan, organizing facilities, and ensuring project targets are met.
8. Project Management and Safety: Responsible for site team coordination, consultant/client coordination related to ICA activities, planning and execution of all works, implementing and managing safety protocols to ensure zero injury results.
9. Communication and Reporting: Communicate project status updates to the reporting officer on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis, assist the project management team in preparing required documents, reports, as-built drawings, and other necessary documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree: B.E/B. Tech - E&I/I&C/C&I/EEE/ECE degree from an accredited institution.

Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in automation engineering.

• Proficient in PLC programming languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and their applications.
• Knowledge of piping and instrumentation diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and layout drawings.
• Hands-on experience with various instruments and electrical panel integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
