Division Profile:

The Wholesale division focuses on capital raising and advisory services, structuring, sales and trading of global securities, and distinctive investment research for global corporations, governments, and financial institutions.

Business Unit Focus:

Structured Credit/Rates Trading extends regional Global Markets teams supporting Equities, Securitized Products, Rates, FX, and Credit. The division provides support for activities like research, quantitative modeling, sales and trading support, pricing and balancing, product development, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

This role offers broad exposure and learning opportunities while being professionally challenging. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with global trading desks under dynamic markets and tight deadlines.
  • Gaining knowledge of relevant global financial products and models developed by the business.
  • Responding to client requests, ranging from data inquiries to designing and implementing bespoke models.
  • Performing trade modeling, strategy selection, and performance analysis.
  • Developing infrastructure to implement new models and maintain existing infrastructure.
  • Working closely with sales, traders, and structurers to execute new trades, post-trade analysis, position keeping.
  • Converting market knowledge into understandable investment opinions and making relative value recommendations.
  • Staying current on market and commercial developments to frame investment strategies.
  • Assisting senior management in preparing pitches for internal investment committees and management packs.

Essential Qualities:

We seek individuals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commercial mentality with an entrepreneurial bias, good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to collaborate internally across teams within Global Markets and across divisions. Previous experience or education in credit derivatives and financial analysis is preferred.
