Chief Information Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in various technologies and security topics including operating systems, network security, protocols, application security, infrastructure hardening, and security baselines.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in information technology (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of experience. They will be familiar with industry standards relating to Vulnerability Management including Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), and Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).
Practical experience with identifying, analyzing, and communicating cyber threat and vulnerability information is essential. The candidate should hold key Cybersecurity Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, SANS, etc.
Experience working with cloud technology (Azure, GCP, AWS) and strong working knowledge of vulnerability management toolsets (Qualys, Wiz.io, Xray Jfrog) are highly desired. Familiarity with patching processes and related technologies (e.g., BladeLogic, SCCM) is also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing vulnerability management programs
- Working with general IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture (e.g., Server, Network, Workstation, Cloud, etc.)
- Developing and implementing security controls and best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective cybersecurity measures
Key Skills:
