As a seasoned leader in Site Reliability Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping the SRE function within the CTO office.

You will work closely with a small number of SREs in the platform engineering and operations teams as well as wider infrastructure teams for both public cloud and on-premises platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, drive, and implement the SRE strategy to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency.
  • Promote an Automate-first culture in operating services by identifying and eliminating inefficient processes.
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for automating process elimination, improving service quality, and optimizing delivery.
  • Work with all parties to develop and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services.
  • Define monitoring strategy with Engineering and implement appropriate capabilities.
  • Design and implement reliability improvements, conduct capacity planning, and perform chaos engineering exercises.
  • Lead architectural reviews for reliability and drive continuous improvement from incidents.
  • Contribute to Test and Deployment processes, ensuring they are as reliable and automated as possible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience as an SRE Practitioner with 5+ years of working experience in an SRE role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives, and operating to Error Budgets.
  • Experience implementing and operating monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Knowledge of corporate software development lifecycle methodologies, with some experience in GitOps.
  • Strong understanding of technical systems and their interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of critical production support processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
