Mobile App Developer - Cross-Platform Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Mobile App Developer with a specialization in cross-platform development using React Native. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-performance mobile applications for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of React Native + Expo apps for iOS, Android, and web rendering.
  2. Design and implement new features and workflows, such as therapist selection, group bookings, provider business tools, and in-app chat with fallback texting.
  3. Integrate with Firebase services, including Realtime DB for live updates, OTP authentication, and push notifications.
  4. Collaborate with backend developers to design and consume APIs, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  5. Ensure the scalability and performance of mobile applications for a rapidly growing user base.
  6. Handle end-to-end delivery, including coding, debugging, testing, and deploying apps to the App Store and Play Store.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in React Native (with Expo).
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript and scalable app architecture.
  • Familiarity with Firebase services, including Realtime DB, Auth, and Push Notifications.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs.
  • Proven track record of publishing apps to the App Store and Play Store.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of React JS or Next.js for web-side development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development.
  • Background in fast-paced product startups, preferably not outsourcing or agency work.
