Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team.

As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and scalability of our databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain our database architecture, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly scalable and available database architectures using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure database designs meet application requirements and optimize database performance.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for database backups, restores, and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in database administration.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in database administration, preferably with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.
  • Excellent knowledge of database design principles, data modeling, and database security.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting languages like Bash and Python.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
