Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Study Abroad Counselor to join our team at AEC - Abroad Education Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to students and parents who are interested in pursuing higher education abroad.

Key Responsibilities
  • Counseling: Understand the academic and personal goals of students and parents, and provide personalized guidance to help them make informed decisions about their education abroad.
  • Course and Institution Selection: Assist students in shortlisting suitable courses and institutions that match their academic and career goals.
  • Student and Parent Support: Ensure student and parent satisfaction by addressing their queries and concerns, and providing timely support to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Rapport Building: Establish and maintain good relationships with prospective students and their families, and provide them with a positive and supportive experience.
  • Decision Making: Help students and parents make informed decisions about their education abroad, and provide them with the necessary information and resources to make a well-informed choice.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
  • Team Support: Support and motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders, and provide them with a positive and supportive experience.
  • Issue Reporting: Report any important issues or concerns to senior management, and propose solutions to address them.
Requirements
  • Prior Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of country-specific education systems, job opportunities, visa requirements, and other relevant information.
  • Education and Skills: Hold a university degree and possess good communication and sales skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members.
