Optical Metrology Systems Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality optical metrology systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our optical metrology systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement test plans, including integration testing, system interface testing, functional testing, regression testing, and benchmarking.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze and document software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Track and report quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of numerical analysis, machine learning, and software development a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with semiconductor front-end processes, Thin Film and OCD metrology technologies, optical spectroscopies, and material characterization.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
  • ISTQB Certification.
