About the Role:

  • You will lead the development of end-to-end technical solutions for multiple products or complex projects.
  • As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for managing budgets for small projects or programs.
  • You will solve complex problems with minimal guidance and influence others to adopt software solutions.
  • You will articulate compelling software solutions for customers and products.
  • You will explain difficult concepts and influence others to adopt ideas and initiatives.

About You:

  • You have 7+ years of professional software development experience with PHP on WordPress in an enterprise environment.
  • You have strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress, WP plugin development, MySQL, Twig, and CSS.
  • You have experience with Git, Docker, and Jenkins, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • You have familiarity with ReSTful web services, NodeJS and Typescript used in Cloudflare workers.
  • You have 1+ years of experience working on an agile team.
  • You have development experience with public-facing enterprise applications.
  • You have strong analytical and debugging skills, and familiarity with common debugging tools like XDebug.
  • You have experience writing and using automated unit tests to validate and maintain code quality.
  • You have familiarity with SEO principles, including page speed and core web vitals.
  • You have familiarity with AWS technologies like S3, Lambda, and EC2.
  • You have familiarity with mobile and cross-browser functional testing as well as an awareness of common web development pitfalls and solutions.
  • You have the ability to work across multiple geographic locations and cultures.

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
