Job Summary

Markem-Imaje is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our product identification and traceability solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products on time and to our quality standards
  • Conduct daily quality and production reports for printers
  • Maintain all machinery and equipment in the production area
  • Follow all safety instructions and protocols
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for quality failures
  • Conduct print quality tests and packaging of products
  • Execute 6S and operational excellence activities on the shop floor
  • Confirm production in SAP and perform inventory counting and matching
  • Segregate and dispose of scrap material according to protocol
  • Participate in internal audits and quality control activities
Requirements
  • Diploma in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, or related field with 2-3 years of experience
  • OR 2 years of regular ITI in Electronics or Electrician with higher experience in the same field
  • Experience in electronics assembly line, electrical/electronic maintenance, customer support, or field engineering
  • Knowledge of electronic parts, basic testing, and electrical/electronics testing tools
  • Ability to read technical specifications and manufacturing instructions
  • Light knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
  • Must have knowledge of MS Office and good English writing skills
