This is a comprehensive job description for a Technical Consultant role.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

  • This is a Technical Consultant position that requires hands-on experience with Oracle SCM modules.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical expertise across Oracle SCM applications.
  • This includes designing, developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
  • The candidate will also be required to customize Oracle applications using development tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, OAF, BI Publisher, XML Publisher.
  • In addition, the candidate will need to develop and maintain RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
  • The Technical Consultant will also create and support Oracle APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
  • Furthermore, the candidate will participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support activities for Oracle SCM applications.
  • The role also involves performing technical analysis, debugging, and root cause resolution for production issues.
  • Finally, the candidate will work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Technical Consultant.
  • Strong technical expertise in Oracle SCM modules, specifically MSCA and WMS.
  • Proven experience with Oracle EBS R12 development and customization.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, Workflow, BI Publisher, XML Publisher.
  • Strong knowledge of RICEW development.
  • Experience with Oracle APIs and Web Services integration.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical documentation standards.
