Job Purpose

As a Sales Associate - Vaccine Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies in assigned markets, developing and executing plans to achieve desired sales objectives, and ensuring brand presence in defined markets. You will supervise and manage the distributor network to achieve financial and ethical objectives of the division as per the business strategy.

To achieve this, you will have authority to develop customer management plans, approve expiry products, issue credit notes for distributors, recommend appointments and credit limits, and participate in Strategy Execution review meetings to ensure alignment.

You will play a crucial role in the Division's success by developing and executing business plans, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Area Business Planning:

  • Plan for monthly and quarterly business
  • Plan for trade activation business and overall sales
  • Plan demand generation and fulfillment
  • Monitor actual sales and make mid-course corrections
  • Prescription audit for Abbott brands and competitors
  • Create and update customer lists

Business Generation & Development:

  • Achieve sales targets by promoting products ethically
  • Have science-based discussions with doctors and chemists
  • Organize camps and activations for brand visibility
  • Plan and conduct merchandising and sampling activities
  • Facilitate new product launches

Brand Management:

  • Ensure brand visibility on retailers' outlets
  • Make productive calls and recommend appointments
  • Ensure stock and sales statements are sent on time
  • Settle claims within specified time limits

You will be a manager in your territory, authorized to build the company's reputation and lead junior team members by setting an example of excellence in leadership, compliance, and customer service.
