The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled professional to join our team as a Chief Information Security Officer with expertise in conducting ISO 27001 audits for external clients with an accredited certification body.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  1. Proven experience as a Lead Auditor in conducting ISO 27001 audits for external clients with an accredited certification body
  2. Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent certifications demonstrating expertise in information security and ISO standards
  3. A solid understanding of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and frameworks related to information security
  4. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically in identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams
  6. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor and guide audit teams
  7. A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
  8. Flexibility to travel as required for on-site client audits

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading and coordinating ISO 27001 audits for external clients with an accredited certification body, from planning to final reporting, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations
  • Conducting thorough assessments of clients' information security systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate corrective actions
  • Providing expert guidance to clients on best practices for implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 frameworks and information security management systems (ISMS)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective risk assessment strategies and security protocols
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in information security, industry trends, and emerging threats, and incorporating this knowledge into audit procedures
  • Mentorship and training of junior auditors to enhance the overall competency of the audit team

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Lead Auditor in conducting ISO 27001 audits for external clients with an accredited certification body
