Senior Data Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our data architecture. This role will be responsible for defining and implementing a scalable and efficient data pipeline, ensuring high-quality data is available to support business intelligence and analytical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and analytical needs
  • Manage and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems and processes
  • Apply best practices in data management, storage, and processing

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, data modeling, and ETL processes. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
  • Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming/scripting languages
