Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Splunk Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Splunk infrastructure, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Splunk Indexer, Search Head, Deployment Server, Heavy Forwarder, and Universal forwarder on UNIX and Windows platforms.
  • Standardize Splunk Forwarder Deployments, configurations, and maintenance across multiple platforms.
  • Troubleshoot Splunk server and Forwarder problems and issues.
  • Design and maintain production-quality Dashboards.
  • Develop expertise in parsing, indexing, searching concepts such as Hot, Warm, Cold, Frozen bucketing.
  • Utilize regular expressions (regex) to extract fields from log files.
  • Gain experience with Actuate Reporting, Development, Deployment, Management, and Performance Tuning of Actuate Reports.
  • Monitor Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization, supporting Splunk on Linux and Windows-based platforms.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Certifications (good to have): Splunk Certified Power User and Splunk Certified Admin.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and Docker services.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, creating, and running customized scripts.
  • Experience in data analytics.
