About the Role



As a key member of the Sabre team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities




  • Evaluate the reliability of production materials, components, and techniques, and advise design engineering on their selection and application.
  • Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve required levels of product reliability.
  • Determine reliability requirements of components and systems to meet company, customer, and regulatory reliability objectives.
  • Develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to identify potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability.
  • Make recommendations for changes in component and system selection, and propose design or formulation changes to improve system and process reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems and services.
  • Analyze system and application architectures to identify and mitigate potential reliability bottlenecks.
  • Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure system performance.
  • Optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining reliability.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Own application systems and work with development teams on performance and security improvements.
  • Participate in security incident response and vulnerability management processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and take corrective actions to improve stability and performance of systems running on production environments.


Requirements




  • XX years of relevant experience in XXXXX (e.g., supporting open system applications).
  • Strong knowledge of XXXX.
  • Scripting skills and experience (XXXX name tech stack).
  • Good working knowledge of cloud services (preferable XXXX).
  • Good working knowledge of automation tools (e.g., XXXX).
  • Experience designing and operating cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Java applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (XXXX).
  • Solid hands-on experience with framework development and ability to achieve end-to-end automation of workflows.
  • Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing, and documentation.


Nice to Have Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • General experience with distributed architecture and/or high availability systems and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts can be beneficial for enhancing system automation, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance.
