As a skilled database professional, you will play a key role in our team's efforts to deliver high-quality data solutions. Your expertise in Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database Administration will be crucial in ensuring the robust management and optimization of our databases.

The position involves designing, building, developing, and managing pipelines using various database technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Application and Databricks members, to develop innovative data solutions that meet our security initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database tasks, ensuring robust database management and optimization.
  • Implement quality control functionality for business rules (logic) in the database.
  • Design, build, develop, and manage pipelines using database technologies.
  • Understand database technologies and migrate business rules from one DB technology to another.
  • Collaborate closely with Application and Databricks team members to develop robust data solutions that support our security initiatives.
  • Implement, monitor, and optimize data processes, ensuring adherence to security and data governance best practices.
  • Implementation of monitoring and logging processes using Azure database capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • Document procedures and workflows associated with data pipelines, contributing to best practices.
  • Share knowledge about latest Azure Database trends and techniques.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the system, identify possible security risks, and implement preventive measures.

Requirements:

  • Excellent command of English
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing database-driven applications and pipeline development using Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database
  • Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data.
  • Ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Azure Database or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD setup for database objects release management.
