Transportation Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Management Specialist to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with colleagues to address complex business issues and propose improvements when opportunities or challenges arise.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will be responsible for managing data responsibly, ensuring adherence to risk management and compliance procedures, and staying updated with the latest developments in transportation management.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with colleagues to address complex business issues and propose improvements when opportunities or challenges arise.
  • Manage data responsibly, ensuring adherence to risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in transportation management.
  • Configure and define transportation management functionalities, including freight orders, contracts, settlement, and posting.
  • Manage post processing framework, business rules framework, event management, and EDI integration.
  • Oversee the setup of enterprise structure, freight units, trip planning, load planning, and carrier invoice integration.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in transportation management with sales and distribution.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded transportation management implementation is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • SAP certification in transportation management module is preferred.
  • Experience with solution manager during implementations.
  • Proficiency in integrating transportation management with other modules like sales, material management, extended warehouse management, and goods transporter service.
  • Familiarity with ticket management tools and support environments.
  • Exposure to interface monitoring for EDI/IDOCs.
  • Experience with tools such as servicenow, solution manager, jira, hp4, mqc, etc.
