Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development principles and design patterns, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust backend services using Python or Node.js to deliver reliable APIs and services that power complex business systems.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure data exchange and access control.
  • Optimize backend performance with caching, query tuning, and async processing techniques to improve system responsiveness and scalability.
  • Build modular, reusable, and testable backend code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), collaborating with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
  • Ensure backend security, reliability, and scalability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming experience in Python or Node.js, with a deep understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), as well as ORM tools.
  • Knowledge of API best practices, including understanding of enterprise system architecture.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming and strong debugging and optimization skills.
