Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity expert to lead the security transformation of our organization across cloud, applications, and enterprise infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy, cloud security, DevSecOps automation, risk governance, and incident response with a proven record of leading security transformations in large-scale organizations.

This is a senior permanent role where the candidate will be expected to build the cybersecurity team from the ground up and lead the security vertical, ensuring robust governance, scalability, and long-term resilience for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide security architecture and frameworks across multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead secure software development lifecycle adoption, threat modeling, application security reviews, and web application firewall implementation.
  • Drive DevSecOps practices, including automation of compliance checks, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure provisioning.

Cybersecurity Vertical Ownership:

  • Establish and grow the cybersecurity team from the ground up, setting up processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Act as the head of the cybersecurity vertical, accountable for strategy, execution, and reporting to leadership.
  • Build a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to achieve maturity in security operations.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to balance business needs with security risk tolerance, translating technical risk into actionable business decisions.
  • Continuously improve security policies, procedures, and audit readiness.

Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response:

  • Work with security operations center and incident response teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats and incidents.
  • Develop and optimize incident response playbooks to improve containment, recovery, and resilience.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and security automation to reduce exposure to malicious events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters in Computer Science (Preferred) and Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 17+ years of proven cybersecurity experience across cloud, DevSecOps, application security, and compliance.
  • Certifications: ISC2 CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, CEH Master, Google Cloud Architect, ITIL.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
  • AWS/Azure security services, identity access management, Terraform, Okta, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Secure network design, VPCs, firewalls, web application firewalls.
  • Application and product security reviews.
  • Security automation and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
