Airfield Infrastructure Design Position

Seeking a skilled professional to lead the design of airport airfield infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and roads.

  • Design and develop detailed geometric plans for airfield infrastructure components.
  • Prepare grading plans, cut-and-fill calculations, and earthworks balance for airside areas.
  • Produce design drawings and bills of quantities (BoQs) extracted from building information modeling (BIM) models.
  • SUPPORT stand and gate design optimization, ensuring safe aircraft operations and adequate integration of fueling pits, ground power, pre-conditioned air (PCA), and GSE routes.
  • Apply BIM tools for 3D coordination, clash detection, and multi-discipline integration.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Infrastructure Design Engineer with experience in airport or transportation infrastructure design.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in geometric design of airside and landside infrastructure and a strong background in multidisciplinary coordination with drainage, utilities, and fueling systems.

Additionally, the candidate should have proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AviPLAN, BIM (Navisworks), and AutoTURN, as well as strong knowledge of international aviation and road design standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Specialized training in airport/transportation design software is an asset.
  • 4 plus years of experience in airport or transportation infrastructure design.

  • Strong technical skills in civil engineering and transportation infrastructure design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel to project sites and occasional overtime.
