Oracle Database Expert

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and optimization for Oracle database environments. This includes installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software and related tools.

  • Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including patching, backups, and updates.
  • Ensure database availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and management.
  • Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database performance to improve response times.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in managing and supporting complex Oracle database systems in on-premises and cloud environments. Proficiency in Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, 19c, and later is required. Additionally, strong experience with PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and database optimization is essential.

  • Hands-on experience with tools like RMAN, OEM, and Data Pump.
  • Knowledge of database internals, storage, and networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
