Job Description

The Product Support team at Tyfone maintains our digital banking products.

We are seeking a skilled Project Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily triage of incoming tickets.
  • Lead and manage post-roll-out support of complex and high-priority projects.
  • Understand the product, plan, and monitor work, keeping track of support/maintenance releases and resource availability.
  • Effectively communicate the plan to the team and get buy-in before starting development work.
  • Interface with internal teams as needed to analyze requirements, assess technical feasibility, and address customer requests and issues.
  • Provide release status updates to customers and management.
  • Handle team dynamics and conflicts efficiently while delivering committed work.
  • Complete project life cycle management, including triaging, planning, progress tracking, maintaining SLAs, identifying risks, risk mitigation planning, release planning, ensuring quality guidelines, preparing progress reports, and documentation.
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance releases, groom backlog tickets, and plan sprints.
  • Keep track of support/maintenance releases and resource availability.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, and post-release retrospectives.

Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Jira, Salesforce, and SDLC.
  • 4-9 years of experience, including developing and/or leading development/support of medium to large web/mobile applications, leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects end-to-end, and certifications in Agile methodologies/PMP.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A good understanding of software applications, technology stacks, usability, and design.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, JavaScript, HTML5, RESTful APIs, and RDBMS concepts.
  • Experience with Agile Development process (Scrum) and issue/bug triage.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Graduation in Computer Science.
