Technical Leadership in Data Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure services.
  • Implement Databricks Asset Bundles for CI/CD and environment management.
  • Develop efficient ELT/ETL workflows with Delta Lake, ADF, and other Azure services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Databricks features to accelerate delivery.
  • Optimize Spark, SQL, and Python code for performance and scalability.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to ensure a robust data ecosystem.
  • Mentor team members to improve overall team productivity and technical capability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years in Data Engineering with at least 5 years hands-on experience in Azure & Databricks.
  • Strong expertise in Databricks (Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Workflows, MLflow basics) and Azure Data Services.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark programming languages.
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures and governance principles.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects efficiently and helping teams accelerate execution.
