User Experience Designer

At ScaleneWorks, we're looking for a talented User Experience Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in designing and improving user interfaces and user experiences across various digital platforms. Your designs will significantly enhance user satisfaction, usability, and accessibility of our digital products, ensuring an optimal user journey from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are aligned with business objectives and user requirements.
  • Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces that enhance the aesthetic and usability of web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure the design consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness of the UI across multiple devices and platforms.
  • Implement design best practices to create intuitive navigation, user flows, and interactive elements.
  • Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to make informed design improvements.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on testing and feedback to optimize performance and user satisfaction.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of UI/UX designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and content teams, to align design with the brand vision and messaging.
  • Present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders, collecting feedback and refining designs based on input.

Design System and Guidelines
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and introduce innovative solutions to enhance product design.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in creating user-centered designs and wireframes for web and mobile platforms.
  • Expertise in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and best practices in UI/UX.
  • Ability to conduct and interpret user research and usability testing.
  • Proficiency in prototyping, creating mockups, and presenting design ideas to stakeholders.
  • Experience working closely with developers and familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail in design.

Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with design systems and atomic design principles.
  • Experience with animation and interaction design tools, such as Principle or Framer.
  • Knowledge of user behavior analytics tools, such as Hotjar or Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks for collaborative design and development.

Education
  • A bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Experience: 35 years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing user-centered designs across multiple platforms.
