Python Developer (AWS)

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Python developer with experience in AWS services to join our team. As a Python developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications using Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using Python.
  • Develop expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, SNS Lambda, IAM Roles, CloudWatch, and others.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with engineers to containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker, EKS, and ECS.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of microservices architectures.
  • Ensure continuous integration and delivery of high-quality software products using Jenkins.
  • Implement version control best practices using Git.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, SNS Lambda, IAM Roles, CloudWatch, and others.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker, EKS, and ECS.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
Additional Skills
  • Familiarity with AWS EMR and big data technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Java is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging.
  • Exposure to on-prem to AWS cloud migration is a plus.
